Google adds shoppable fashion discovery feed in Doppl
The company is expanding its work in AI-powered fashion discovery

Get Smarter at Marketing
Google has introduced a new shoppable discovery feed inside Doppl, its experimental AI fashion app. The new feed will enable users to explore outfits, see how they might look, and shop from links that lead directly to merchants.
According to Google, the discovery feed surfaces outfits that match the style preferences users share with Doppl. Google explains that these recommendations are based on the items people interact with in the app. This means the feed learns from signals such as liked outfits or viewed items and shows similar looks.
The discovery feed will also include AI-generated videos of real products and outfits. The feature is now available to 18+ users in the U.S. on iOS and Android.
Google is linking the feature to merchants
The company says nearly everything in the discovery feed will be shoppable. Each item links directly to a retailer where the product is sold. Google is linking items to the seller, so the entire flow stays inside Doppl until the checkout point. This aligns with the current trend of AI-powered commerce, where search, product previews, and buying paths are presented in one place.
Google is doubling down on AI-driven fashion and commerce
Google has been exploring AI-driven fashion tools for several years across Search and Shopping surfaces. It recently expanded its virtual try-on tool to more regions and languages. Now it is testing new ways to compete in the fashion discovery space that already attracts heavy attention from retailers, marketplaces, and social platforms.
Doppl is Google’s newest part of that strategy. The company launched Doppl in June as an AI try-on tool that turns outfit screenshots into realistic images and short clips. The company says the goal is to give users a single place to explore looks, view realistic product clips, and tap through to merchants.
